GWiz (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how GWiz handles your information when you use the GWiz mobile or web application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

GWiz does not require an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email, or phone number. Saved grocery items are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

2. Location Access

GWiz may ask for your location to find nearby grocery stores. Location data stays on your device and is not stored by GWiz servers.

3. Advertising

GWiz uses third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob, to display ads within the App. These advertising providers may collect certain information automatically to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

This information may include:

Device identifiers (such as Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA))
IP address
Approximate location derived from IP address
Device type and operating system
Interaction data related to advertisements

Advertising partners may use this information to measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve advertising services.

4. Data Sharing

GWiz does not sell your personal information.

However, third-party advertising providers such as Google AdMob may collect and process certain device and usage data in order to provide advertising services as described above.

5. Analytics and Tracking

GWiz does not use independent analytics tools.

Advertising partners may use tracking technologies, including device identifiers, to deliver and measure advertisements. Where required by applicable law, users will be asked for permission before tracking is enabled.

6. Security

Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device’s operating system and security settings. While we take reasonable measures to protect user information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

GWiz is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App with a revised “Last updated” date.
